The School Strikes for Climate Change around the world captured the media globally and revealed a cause that so many young people are passionately fighting for. We know that solving the Climate Crisis is no easy task, and there is no single solution - unless we all do our part. That is why, at EdUnity, we want to give Schools the option to choose more sustainably.

eduCCate Global was set up to create a program for education that would ensure every child, could have access to an education inclusive of Climate Change Education. Since the start of the School Strikes by Greta Thunberg, it has been a focal point for many children and their families across the world. That is why, EdUnity is honoured to be partnering in the delivery of eduCCate Global for schools in 2021
EdUnity works with schools around the world to upgrade their communications infrastructure, streamline administration and enhance school-tech. One of the many ways we can support this, is by helping schools to go paperless - and it's a great stepping stone in your school's journey to become more environmentally progressive.
Right now, in a collaborative effort with eduCCate Global - EdUnity is working to create new ways that can help drive a sustainable and greener future. From tackling Knowledge Gaps to Going Paperless and addressing School Food Waste. EdUnity will be investing in green initiatives for schools.
Every time a letter, SMS or even email is sent, it grows our digital carbon footprint. If every school in the United Kingdom, swapped to EdUnity we could reduce CO2 footprint emissions by 15,000 tons (that is the equivalent to driving 37 million miles). It's a small change to make, but together, we can make a big difference.
In partnership with eduCCate Global, we are helping schools to achieve their Eco Passport Award - a demonstration of schools making choices to improve their sustainable impact on the planet. With EdUnity, schools can achieve 3 of the 7 Eco Passport Goals by, Swapping Digital, introducing a Family Outreach Strategy and using Stay Green Initiatives. Arrange a chat with one of our Solutions Advisors and see how you can achieve your School Eco Passport today.
When we say School App, every app is unique - it is your School's very own app, and this means there are an endless number of ways to customise it and tailor it to your School. Other providers offer things like a 'Parent App' that can be downloaded and used in limited ways - but beware! This is not a School App. If you have a question about this or specific questions, we would encourage you to speak to a Solutions Advisor who can help.
That's up to you! It can be within just a couple of weeks by the time all changes and iterations are finished. We advise schools to get in early, busy periods around April and the Summer Holidays can mean higher demand and may slightly increase waiting times.
Yes, we offer solutions geared more towards Group set-ups. A minimum of 3 schools is required to access this but we are happy and able to work with School Groups.
Our entry level plan, EdUnity Basic, is £595 a year. This includes a School App with basic functionality. If you need your School App to connect with your School's MIS and offer more advanced capabilities, our EdUnity Plus plan is for you at £995 a year. We do not charge any set-up fees or usage quotas, all pricing is flat-rate.
To promote eco-choices among schools and their suppliers, we are pleased to offer schools a 10% discount on subscription plans. To meet the eligibility criteria, schools must be active and registered with eduCCate Global - as well as demonstrate a constructive plan to improve your school's environmental credentials. eduCCate Global is able to advise schools in achieving this.
We accept payments via BACS, Bank Transfer or Debit Card. EdUnity does not accept payments by Cash or Cheque. All subscriptions are billed annually.
No, EdUnity does not offer a free trial. As every app is built specifically to your school it simply isn't possible to. We can however go through demonstrations and explore requirements in detail before there is any commitment.
Yes! It's a small (but super easy) change to make. If every school in the United Kingdom swapped to EdUnity, we could reduce Carbon Footprint Emissions by up to 15,000 tons a year - and if every school in Europe did the same it would equate to almost 250,000 tons. Together - small differences, can have a big impact.
